Photographer’s Note
I was quite impress with my vacation at Cape Cod. The beaches are fantastic and the architecture is georgous.
Cape Cod was discorver around 1602 by Bartholomew Gosnold who sailed from Falmouth, England. Samuel de Champlain, also visited in 1605 and 1606; his encounter with the resident Wampanoag tribe in the Chatham area resulted in deaths on both sides. However settlement began only with the chance landing of the Pilgrims, some of whom were Separatists rebelling from enforced membership in the Church of England, others merchants looking for economic opportunity. On September 16, 1620, the Mayflower, with 101 passengers, set out from Plymouth, England, for an area of land granted them by the Virginia Company. (source : Travel New-York Time.

Picture well framed; good mixture of sand and grass; it recalls me a previous journey at Cape Cod.
I am quite impress with the detais of your capture and the architecture of these «mansions» on the sandy beach at Cape Cod.

Hello, Michel. I like these old houses that were built right along the beach. The colours are very nice and the foreground with the good contrast between the white sand and the high grass is quite interesting. Maybe you could have shown us the whole pole on the roof of the first house or cloned it if it didn't bring anything to the photo.

Super contraste en couleur (le ciel est d'origine?).
Tout simplement magnifiques ces maisons en bord de plage, oui une maison secondair avec un vionprivé devrait fair l'affaire ;o).
Merci, Al.

Hi Michel,
Very nice picture. Good composition. The place looks so desolate and it makes it mysterious and dramatic. I don't know why - but it makes me think of the Hitschock's movies. It's like calm before the storm.
Great colours.
Cheers!
