[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another shot from my hike last Friday morning after the Lehigh Valley got about 12" of snow. Rather than cross the regular bridge (just to the left) and deal with plows and huge piles of snow, I decided to cross this train bridge to keep things easy. Thankfully, there were no trains in the area at the time (although, this bridge is frequented by trains heading up and down the Lehigh Valley).

I have posted the original version in color as a workshop. As with my last picture, I wasn't sure which one I liked better. Because of the grey sky at the time and the old feel of the bridge, I went with the black and white. Let me know what you think. I hope you enjoy.

j'aime beaucoup le graphisme dans cette photo, la régularité du dépôt de la neige sur chaque structure.
Ce traitement en b&w est bien adapté et la cadrage également.

marrante la photo et bien pensée...premiere neige du moment je suppose...idem ici...la neige donne de belles formes sur les objects...très nette...le blanc est bien rendu...le relief donne bien...bravo...amicalement BI

Belle composition. L'effet BW améliore le rendu global de l'image par rapport a l'original. Un cadre noir serait un plus je pense.

Hej Eric,
The snow on the railway creates really a nice effect. In combination with the perspective and the construction of the bridge is this a beautiful picture, very well done!
