Photographer’s Note
Not sure of the source, but only a few meters from the ocean lies this standpipe - used by Tsunami victims for bathing and laundry. It's certainly a more picturesque setting for washing one's clothes than is the "laundry room" in my dark, dingy basement.

This is really a good picture after tsunami. This gives the information about the lif of the people who were the victims of tsunami.

Good daily life shot, Dave, and good focus and DOF. Perhaps a fill flash might have helped to bring out a little more detail on the man's face. Photographing people with dark skin is more tricky than photographing people with a pale skin colour because sometimes the amount of flash required washes out the colour in other parts of the picture. I am very impressed by your style of photography.
To me, the album you took in Afghanistan is something too new for me. I know I must go back to view, to read, to think and to learn.
Could you please let me know how did you enter the country, and do you think at this moment if I were on the Khyber Pass (from Peshawar), I will be able to find transportation to go to Kabul? Otherwise, how can I arrive the capital by air from Houston, Texas?
Thanks for your advice.
Thanh
