Two children very curious at the window !
I took this picture at the "Palong" hill tribe village of "Ywa Thit" a long walk away from the city of kalaw.

Fabulous shot, Tom. I like the tight crop with only the wooden window and the two small faces. Really curious faces and it seems like they are just tall enough to have a look.

ils sont géniaux ces deux petits gamins. je les imagine sur la pointe des pieds pour voir ce qui se passe de l'autre coé de la porte en bois.. visiblement c'est Vero qui les interesse à ta gauche... non??

Wonderful partially hidden expressions of the two contrasting children - one bald and one not. Good usage of the rough wood texture and the black background to frame the boys. Bravo, Tom!

I realy like that you get close to the people( I hope you know what I mean)
I love there expressions and the way both are looking to the SAME direction
They are not aware of you and (with the lens 18-70mm ) you must have been real close)

encore une magnifique image de ton trek dans les petits villages.
Je ne sais pas comment tu fais tes conversions n/b mais elles sont excellentes en tout cas.
Très bon cadrage, c'est trop chou comme ces 2 petites bouilles sont encadrés.
Pour pinailler je peux juste regretter que la bouche du 2e soit légèrement coupée.
Bravo !

Hello Tom,

theres something really chatmong about this shot. It seems like sometimes people take shortcuts by taking ultra cute photos of kids that are essentially empty beyond the surface superficiality. However here, Im sort of intrigued by the composition. They must have seen something striking, more so than even a foreigner with a big camera as their gaze is directed towards something else. Theie eyes are quite powerful. This photo has a really nice seoul to it...something I would see in a Steve McCurry portrait actually.

Superbe encore Tom. Ces deux bouilles sympas qui sortent des planches sont très belles et pétillent de malice.

Ca a l'air paumé Kalaw. J'ai crû voir que c'était un village de population indienne entre Bagan et Inle. Vous avez aimé ? Je cherche un moyen pour joindre ces deux sites sans trop de galère. Comment avez-vous fait ?

Encore une belle prise avec deux chouettes attitudes.
Ils sont trop choux ces 2 petits gamins...le chevelu et le chauve ;)
Le n/b est encore une fois magnifique...un superbe traitement.
Le cadrage avec ces deux pans inclinés, ce noir derrière leurs têtes, cette texture du bois,....bien vu.

A very beautiful portrait of two cute lovely faces framed by the window. I like the contrast in texture between the smooth complexions of the children and the rough wooden window.
