Photographer’s Note

A group of kids joyfully play in the beach in Paquetá, an island inside of Guanabara Bay in Rio de Janeiro. Probably the last time I was here I had the age of those kids and was having the some kind of fun.

Paquetá is only an hour way from downtown Rio by ferryboat. But seams that you are in a small town city. Life goes by very slowly and seams that everybody enjoys each moment of it. It was a pleasure to return here after some 25 years.

Hello Joel, I like very much the point of view. Because, its well balance, perfect timing, and soft colors. It also portraits the happiness of those kids playing. The only problem was de DOF, for obvious problems in the definition. TFS, Gabriel.
