Photographer’s Note
There's a lot of old cars in Colonia. Unfortunately lot of them are only a decoration, a kind of street furniture, staying out of order in front of restaurants for tourists. But if you turn on the backstreets you can find real ones, still in use.

And, surpisingly, these look European, though I don't know what they are. There's something French looking about the small van. Interesting very TE shot.

Hi! These cars are European. Uruguay never produced cars. So they are imported from Europe still nowadays. Most cars in Uruguay are french, some from japan and the volkswagen, which is assembled in Brazil is very popular.

Colonia del Sacramento was founded by the Portuguese, but in that time there were no motor cars ;-)
Interesting composition. Good management of light and shadow.
