Photographer’s Note

Mystras, the 'wonder of the Morea', was built as an amphitheatre around the fortress erected in 1249 by the prince of Achaia, William of Villehardouin. Reconquered by the Byzantines, then occupied by the Turks and the Venetians, the city was abandoned in 1832, leaving only the breathtaking medieval ruins, standing in a beautiful landscape.

Bonjour Nokolaos,
c'est très réussi comme composition, le cadrage et le format vertical vont très bien avec le décor, ce sentier de pierre qui grimpe.
Trsè belles couleurs dans des lumières équilibrées.
Beaucoup de netteté.

It's great to see the fall colors in Greece. I was there in June so everything was the same color. This is a beautiful, mystical place. Well seen!

Great shot. I agree this is a very good POV with beautiful true to life colors. I also like much the old stone walking path and stone walls.

there are so many colors in this image but surprisingly none clash, instead they actually make this photo wonderful, it really looks like a dream place and I'd love to visit one day. excellent composition also. well done

Το στήσιμο της φωτογραφίας είναι πολύ καλό. Όμως όταν ο αχνός φωτισμός συνδυάζεται με υπερβολικά κορεσμένα χρώματα είναι επόμενο να δημιουργείται ένα μέτριο αισθητικό αποτέλεσμα.

Νίκο πολύ όμορφη η φωτογραφία.καθαρή κ με ωραία φθινοπωρινά χρώματα.Πολύ καλό στήσιμο.Ο ουρανός μόνο βγήκε λίγο καμμένος.

You've captured some incredible detail and sharpness in this photograph, Nick, despite the light being quite soft. Like others have said above, apart from the sky, it looks like a painting. Excellent DOF too. Cheers . . . David

WOW! From the thumbnail I thought you took a shot of a wall painting, but it turns out to be even better once you open the picture. Like a painting, all I can say!

Fantastic!
It is a extremely nice picture. I also agree that it looks like a oil painting when i just glanced on the thumbnail. But found it gorgeous after opening it!
Nice contrast and bright colour.
And also the indication of Autumn through those maple leaves is brilliant!Just like being in fairy tale!
