The Bridges Of Maddison County Photo

Photographer’s Note

The title is because this scene reminds me of one of the books I most liked to read.
In the moment of the shot there was only a dark umbrella, but I thought it would make all the diference if it was red, so I've done a litle work in photoshop and make it red. Hope it makes the diference for you too.

P.S. - Sorry for not being around lately but unfortunatly I don't have the time to have more participation in here.

the nature is very pretty around,and so the umbrella.I think u had better took this shot without the model but the umbrella.umbrella on the ground just at the same angle for example on the bridge.or the model with a long white dress on,

quite a melancholy and deeply moving story...of regret
i like your shot...and it could be better with some sun..but that might not match the books impression on you...
not entirely sure of the red treatment of the umbrella though..imho it invades the secrecy of the plot

Ótima foto, Artur! Gostei muito das cores! Acho que o pessoal aqui economizou-lhe pontos merecidos! Se pudesse mudar algo na foto eu teria a pessoa com o guarda-chuvas andando, ao invés de parada. Creio que ficaria um pouco mais despretencioso, mais natural, casual. A abertura da ponte também me convida a aproximar-me um pouco, tentando uma perspectiva mais próxima e buscando a textura da madeira, e então provavelmente com a personagem mais adiante. Perdoe-me intrometer-me tanto em sua linda foto! Creio que está realmente maravilhosa, mas o cenário é tão interessante e bonito que me leva a pensar em alternativas, novas fotos que talvez você mesmo as tenha feito neste dia. Obrigado e parabéns!

Olá Artur,
Já não o vejo por aqui há uns tempos e a sua nota explica a sua ausencia que eu gostaria que não fosse assim. Esplendida captura com o pontão de madeira num ponto forte da composição. O ambiente de outono das cercanias de Coimbra que conheço parcialmente estão excelentes. A pessoa com o guarda chuva vermelho natural ou por WS é uma adição de qualidade e contraste a esta grande composição de qualidade, perspectiva, momento e visão.

Um grande obrigado por este momento e captura que nos deu.

Hiya Artur, nice clear shot, great low lighting, good colours, it was the umbrella that sparked my interest, nice work, a very enchanting forest path, well captured!
