Photographer’s Note
On your way to the West Fjords, in the North West of Iceland, you'll drive through smaller fjords, ending with massive snowy mountains, opened on the other side on plain Ocean... It's this contrast that makes Iceland so amazing, so wild. And no where to see, human polution...yet... let's keep it that way.
Some people don't like the rock on the left foreground, it was a kern that travelers built when they want to share their point of views or trekking routes... I decided to leave it there and crop the picture horizontally to offer a wider horizon. A little bit of curves and saturation adjustments in PS.

Its a fie idea to contrast the mighty Icelandic landscape with some foreground. Perhaps a shallower DOF would have been slightly better. Nevertheless, its a great image of a outstanding landscape. Must get to Iceland someday soon!

There are two elements in this iamge which seem to wrestle for the viewers attention. The beautiful landscape in the background, and the blurred rock in the front. It looks like the rock is obscuring the landscape.
I believe this would have been better if you had stepped back slightly and re-composed the shot to include the rock, and used f11 or f16 to get everything in focus.

C'est vrai que la pierre en avant-plan me gêne un peu la composition du paysage, mais bon, on s'y habitue! À part ça, c'est vraiment majestueux. J'imagine qu'il est impossible d'avoir un ciel sans nuage en Islande.
