Photographer’s Note

This is another shot of Mt. Egmont. It's from Mangamahoe Lake, Egmont Village. The cloud is over my head and block the sun light. So the foreground is not fully lighted, natural colour is not captured here.

Egmont Village is located at the North Egmont, about 13km from New Plymouth. One of the three roads to the Mountain is from this village. There are many walks around the mountain. If you want to make a full circle walk around Mt. Egmont/Taranaki, it will take 3 to 5 days.

Lovely view. The colors give a feel for the setting and the tree onthe left adds a great deal to the composition.

This is very pretty. I like the balance between the tree and the volcano. The touch of lake helps give depth. Looks like a postcard.

Hi Aidid!
"Classic" would be the word.
The Norfolk Pine and the crisp bush in the front gives the vulcano it's majestic expression.
I also like the slice of cultivated farmland in the center.it gives the scale.
