My 100th photo posted !

Well, it's been nine months since I found TE in a casual web search. From that time on I've been learning a lot through the critiques and other members'
work.

For this post I've chosen a picture of my city, Niterói, with the famous MAC museum by Oscar Niemeyer as the main subject. Background is Rio de Janeiro.

Thanks a lot to all members for the visits, the critiques and kind attention on all ocasions. It's been helping me to improve my photo technique.

Excelente foto, para comemorar a 100ª. O enquadramento do espectacular museu do Oscar Niemeyer está muito bom! A vista do rio ao fundo com o pão de açucar (estou enganado?), acrescenta ainda mais interesse à foto.
Excelentes cores, nitidez e profundidade de campo com estas rochas a emoldurarem a imagem. Parabéns e obrigado por partilhares,

Congratulations on your 100th post. Well, you have done quite an impressive job by putting up those images.
And you have putting in another good effort on this image as well. The composition of this image isvery good, and haveing secevral subjects blended are well placed.

Eu também já estive na sua terra, mas um dia só não deu para descobrir todas as belezas de Niterói. A imagem tem uma moldura natural subliminal. As cores e definição estão ótimas. Felicitaciones por tu fotografia numero 100 en TE. y te felicito de nuevo por haber escogido esta excelente fotografia, creo que la tenias guardada para esta ocasion porque de verdad que es una foto impresionante.
La composicion, los colores, el foco, los contrastes, la perspecticva, profundidad, el marco natural,,wow,,todo esta numero uno.

Firstly, congratulations on your 100th picture. Hopefully I can reach that milestone one day. Second, thanks for alerting me to your gallery, there is some interesting work here. The picture above is well executed with some good foreground framing and interest which leads in nicely to the museum. The Rio skyline in the distance is a great touch and enhances the picture.

As a suggestion, you can try the same shot with a tripod and neutral density filter. That way you can extend the shutter time and get a blurred water effect. I would be interesting to see how that comes out.

But you effort is excellent nevertheless.

une belle photo pour une 100th, un coin de Rio de Janeiro très peu montré mais qui a de l'intérêt par ce musée à l'architecture futuriste.
On voit au loin la ville et le célèbre rocher.

Congratulations on your 100th contribution.
Nice composition, and colors. The photo is filled with interest. Terrific way to show Rio, the natural area and of course the MAC museum. If you frame the picture I suggest you crop off some of the top.

You chose an excellent image with which to celebrate. The inclusion of the three main elements works well; Sea and rocks; museum; and Rio skyline. All is sharp and clear.

Bonjour Celso,
Bravo pour la 100èmeJ'ai eu le plaisir de visiter ce musée, il y a déjà quelques années en 1996, je crois, l'année de son ouverture. Il est ici superbement cadré, avec à l'arrière la ville de Rio et le pain de sucre. Une grande netteté et contraste.
Superbe travail.

I like this incredible landscape. The museum looks strange in this environment, but it is completely integrated. I like the fact that your picture shows all these elements together: sea, city, mounts, and this strange building. You are lucky to live in such a place!
