Photographer’s Note
We were on our way down to Florida ... traveling through the Smokey mountains. We had wanted to go through Gatlinburg ... to see the assorted sights ... but traffic was terrible, so we went through the Smokey Mountain National Park. The steam was rising off of the mountains and a misting rain was falling. When I got out of the car to see if I could see Gatlinburg, I caught this shot. It's among my most favorite shots ... hope you like it, too!

Cool shot. The green is so rich and lush that the shot looks more like a rainforest than something in the US. The moisture is conveyed really well.
The fence adds a timelessness to the photo. Nice work.

The forest looks so green, and the wood in the forground of the photo looks damp like something you would expect in a photo from South Brazil, not from the States. This photo looks really tropical, and i love it. Also i like the way the clouds just linger over the tree's, it looks so delicate.

Hi Steve
What beautiful photo, the compo is perfect as the light, the fog gives a mistic ambience.
Well done

Nice one Steve, I can almost feel the damp air! Only one point you may want to consider: does the expanse of sky at the top add to the picture? I would be tempted to crop some off. ;)
