Photographer’s Note

Here the very beautiful gallery of Apollo of the castle of Fontainebleau, whose access was unfortunately prohibited, but I nevertheless could make you a photograph of it. One will notice in the forground the terrestrial sphere of Napoleon Ist by the geographers Poirson and Mentelle.

Malgré quelle soit sombre ta photo montre quand même toute la richesse de la décoration et notamment du plafond. Pour une photo prise "à la sauvette" c'est plutot pas mal réussi.

Great perspective and feeling of depth. I also like the colors. i think the picture could use some cropping though - you can crop from the left and the bottom, these areas are underexposed and imho do not add much to the image. Congrats.

Good interior shot which really shows off the perspective and the wonderful ceiling. I would agree that it might benefit from some very minor cropping at the bottom and left, though the steps and pillars add depth to the scene and I wouldn't crop too much.

Belle image. On en parlait justement ce mercredi 23 à la TV dans "Des racines et des ailes". C'est une chateau à voir, ta photo nous le confirme.

Un château chichement meublé comme celui de Chantilly.
La perspective est bonne, à cause de la prise de vue sous-élevée, mais je ferai un "Crop" pour réduire légèrement le bas de l'escalier.

Merci d'avoir pu saisir cette photo à la volée, c'est un pur régal que de pouvoir la contempler à loisir.
J'ai eu l'occasion tout récemment de voir un reportage sur le château de Fontainebleau (Des Racines et des Ailes sur FR3) ;
j'ai retrouvé avec plaisir les lieux de certaines de tes photos.
Très belle réussite.

A very difficult lighting situation captured very well Guy. I can almost hear the echo of the footsteps marching down the long hall. It gives a great feeling of the age and scale of the building.
