Photographer’s Note
This might also be entittled ,Same Place Another Day.as it is taken 6ft/1.8m to the left of where looking westwards ( see Quegardens short cut)was taken still on top of the Rhododendron crates.
The title given refers to a very old weather saying about "red sky at night sheperds delight, red sky in the morning sheperds warning". What this means is that if sky is red at night then there will probableby be rain over night, but if in morning then its going to be wet day :0(.
This is one of about 30 good images some not much different from the one posted , but this one is on full zoom all 48.5mm of it,ISO 100, spot metered.
Adjustments to this image , not a lot. Apart from a slight crop to it this was only a small application of burn tool to the trees on the lower part of the pic to darken them a bit.then USM 131% X 1.9 radius X threshold 1

This is sharp, luminous, hypnotic. The sun like a balloon on the horizon line is amazing. I also like the golden rays up. Great shot, Robert.

Spectacular sky along with the zoom on the sun.Nicely framed by the branches.
If I hadn't looked for clues in your Same Place, you could have fooled me into believing this scene could be either sunrise or sunset. In fact I was leaning towards sunrise until I learned it was the opposite :-)

Beautiful sunset, espectacular tones, and colors. Clouds and the red big sun make a very interesting photograph, and the branches of the trees helps in th composition.

Quelles couleurs.....
Pour ce genre d`image l`on peut oublier le principe du 2/3 concernant le cadrage...puisque les arbres de chaque coté..sont tellement agreablement disposés...
Remarquablement envouteur....Merci à vous

Ah! What a sight that planet. I like the way your framing leads the eye to rest with the sun.

Well done Robert - Guess you used zoom to obtain this framing. You’re surely been on the right place at the right time. Beautiful colours - thanks for sharing.
