Oh yes - remind me its time to get some logs on the fire. Where having to first snow this winter now. I think your coal could glow some more - made a workshop.

hmmm... I like it, it is an original idea, you are right the texture of the coal is what makes this picture. The picutre does give me the impression that the fire was not hot, there is something about a pinkish hue rather than the usual bright color.
