Photographer's Note

I drove past this mill on the way to a meeting, then had second thoughts that there might be interesting shots inside and returned to investigate. Under the mill there was a water chute that directed the flow onto a mechanism that would turn the grinding wheels to make flour from corn. The primary gear was fashioned with wood teeth. It's wonderful to see the technical ability of the blacksmiths and craftsmen who put this machinery together.
