Photographer’s Note
This photo looks like in wonderland,
Maybe it hardly to understand,
but it is the above all in the puppet show performance.
My a friend asked me why i always take those pictures
seem far away from our life.
Indeed, their life looks without any contacting with us,
but it is also a life.
Offering incense burner,
inviting the poppet show to pray for good luck,
that’s the distant villagers’ big desire
that just as us getting a spirit from TE.

Wow, Mingfang, this is a cool image... very nice colors and composition, very strange too... and spooky! I like the man's face hidden between the puppets. well done.

Wow, this is really wonderful, Mingfang! These deep Caravaggio-esque colours set against the pitch black ground of the puppets, removed from us and yet a great part of our psyches, are beautiful. And to make it even richer, the red offering stand in the front adds another, final painterly touch to this great shot.
Very nicely seen, captured, offered to us in an elegant frame.
Bravo!
