Photographer’s Note
I found myself walking through a crop of field corn ... when I noticed this cob abandoned on the ground. Its twisted shape and hardened kernels spoke to me. There is something simple and straightforward in a shot like this ... an object existing in a natural state ... a vision of the moment captured for eternity.
