[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The park consists of nearly 244,000 acres of sharply eroded buttes, pinnacles and spires blended with the largest, protected mixed grass prairie in the United States. Sixty-four thousand acres are designated official wilderness, and is the site of the reintroduction of the black-footed ferret, the most endangered land mammal in North America. The Stronghold Unit is co-managed with the Oglala Sioux Tribe and includes the sites of 1890's Ghost Dances.

The majority of park visitors come June through September, lowest visitation is in November through March.

Colours and settings are very good. Perspective is great.
Very nice shot on stones layers. I like very much the tree shape in the background too.

Hot and dry place? No to chyba miales duzo wiecej szczescia niz ja. Troszke tam zmoklem, ale mimo to mysle ze jest to miejsce szczegolne.
Chcialbym sie tam wybrac jeszcze raz i zobaczyc Badlands w taki sposob jak na twoim zdjeciu - z takimi kolorami.
Podoba mi sie to, ze wlaczyles do kompozycji to drzewko pod horyzontem - zdjecie robi sie przez to jeszcze bardziej interesujace.

Great colours, Piotr. One of my favourites is of the badlands with these strange looking rocks, and you've captured this again. Nice compostition with good colours and clarity, and a sharp photo.

Great shot Piotr, that little tree in the distance makes this a wonderful photo!
