The splendid gothic cathedral in Tortosa is dedicated to the Virgen de la Cinta, the patron saint of Tortosa.
Work on the cathedral began in 1347, it is standing on the foundation of a Moorish mosque from 914. The work on the cathedral went on for almost 200 years, the style is pure gothic.
Tortosa was badly damaged in 1938-39 during one of the fiercest battles of the Civil War when the Ebro formed the front line between the opposing forces.
This shot was taken with my sister's Minolta.

A fine point of view and composition. Yet, do you think the contrast could have been a little stronger? The details on the pillars might be lost though. Still ...

I like this kind of pov and the distorsion is here a little strong but impressive too.
