Photographer’s Note

The locality here is "Posa Pune", on the mountain nearby Combai, in the pre-Alps in the province of Treviso, north-east of Italia.
A zone almost without houses, only a pair of Alpine huts and the shelter 'Posa Puner'.

The little pony in backlit is so cute (almost for me...) that i decided to post this image even if technically not good as is should be, above all for some lack of sharpness.
The white halo isn't photoshopped, and even in the realty was one of the main interest points for my view.

Hello !
This pony is soooo cute ! He or she looks like an angel thanks to the light coming from behind.
I like the fact that there is a foreground made of leaves, and the pony is just behind.
The framing is very good to my eye, the subject is on the left, but the right is not empty. Also there is a nice harmony of colors, including the pony.

Nice shot, the only postprocessing you might want to do is try to add some sharpness, with a small radius.

Ce contre-jour est superbe. le cheval s'enflamme.
il faut oser ce genre de lumiere difficile.

Beautiful light Giorgio. The horse positively glows. There is a certain magic to this shot, its as if this could be a unicorn. Well supported by all the great autumn hues.

a parte gli scherzi, sono d'accordo con te. la foto andava messa su TE, anche se è un pò fuori fuoco. i colori sono belli, ma è la luce che fa la parte del leone in questa immagine.
bella anche il quadro generale con il cavalluccio sulla sinistra e solo natura intorno e dietro di lui.

bellissima la luce proveniente da dietro, che fa sembrare il pony entrare in scena da qualche fiaba... sei tu il principe che lo cavalchera'?

ti ricordi il commento da te fattomi per la foto della bambina sul treno? ..beh, questo è un'altro di quei casi dove la perfezione tecnica non ha importanza...l'atmosfera non ne risente minimamente ed il controluce sul piccolo cavallo (o pony) lo trasforma quasi in una creatura mitologica.. potrebbe essere il fantomatico unicorno.. :o)

A very beautiful nature composition with this nice pony and the light from behind. A shot against light at the left side and also a beautiful right side with the autumn colors in the trees. Nice enquadrement and good handling of light. Very well seen, done and composed. I like it!

Hi Giorgio,
A very difficult picture with backlight, therefor you have a little overexposed to left on the horse, but I enjoy this picture with the lovely autumn colours in tree, also a lovely carpet of leaves in foreground.

A well composed shot with good autumn tones. I like how your four legged friend is balancing the frame and also the way the light and wind are catching his fur behind him. There is also good contrast between the deciduous tree and the evergreen, each balancing the other in the frame. An inspiring, buoyant shot to lead us into winter.
