Photographer's Note
This year the weather has been - and still is - most agreeable. Normally we would be well into Fall, with lots of rain, drizzle, mist and fog. But this year the Summer lingered on... and on... and on...
Nice days with temperatures reaching +20°C (68°F) and not much precipitation. Even nights have been mostly mild. Meteorological records - dated back to 1859 - have been broken and the signs of a real Autumn are few.
Not that we see that many anyhow. This being the southernmost part of Sweden - with a very fertile soil - is an almost totally woodless agricultural region. Forests are few (mostly beech) and very similar to parks. Although given the right conditions they will sparkle with colors.
Instead fields connect to fields, only sometimes separated by a row of willows trying to give some protection. And the only colors are depending on whether the farmers have done Spring (gray) or Autumn (green) sowing.
This is how Winter will look too - if we don't get snow!

Interesting... I like the pure curves, without notch. The pallet of colors is interesting. Good shot.

Good minimalist composition. I like the clean curve of the hill against the cloudless sky. The trees add a bit of complexity. Good work!

Hi Kaj, very nice picture, the curving line of the hill is very nice, very straight at the same time, with the trees in the foregroun makes it a gorgeous and well balnced shot. The summer has been great here too, the fall seems to be also longer, but we had a lot of rain, usually at this time of year the leaves in the trees are all gone, we still have a few, normally gone the third week of october !! Have a great week end, as always a pleasure to exchange with you.

Well I don't mind that we see green because that is my favorite color. Especially when rich and alive in nature like this green. This view offers a very good minimalist feel on the landscape. And I tend to think of minimalism and the Scandinavian nations together. So perhaps the environment was a model, just as Ebbe's northern landscapes also show.
But back to this specifically. The dark spring field contrasts very well, along with the trees, to the bright autumn field. And the sky matches both well. All together they form a graphical beauty.
I wonder if you could lose some of the foreground, though. Maybe half or 3/4. Just to give it a longer feel and also, I think, increase the cross line as the sky and greenery would draw the eye up too. At least my eyes. :)
I really do like this, though. It reminds me of my Iowa at 70mph, except with more interesting and noticeable features like the hill.
