Photographer’s Note

When I was in a ruin of Ayutthaya, I saw a class of children who came to the ruins to pratice their drawing. Some instructors were guiding them.
As Ahyutthaya was invaded by Burmese soliders many centuries ago and as the city was destroyed, people there do not like burmese. I was asked so many times that where do I come from but I wouldn't dare to say I am a burmese. I told them I came from Singapore actually it was true. So I was safe the whole day visiting there. But the gurdian nat(spirit) of Ahyutthaya seems to know me I am a burmese, he made my one foot twisted just before I got into the train at Ayutthaya Train Station. It was such a bad experience. But I like the city very much to see all the old pagodas and it recalled my hitory lessons from childhood.
