This scarab in difficulty in its element, the desert. It appeared well badly with the point, a such 4x4 of Paris-Dakar ensablé in the dunes, with each one its scale of value.

It carried its way of cross there, considering the way carried out:)

Interesting. Usually I am not a big fan of animla or bug photos, but I like the idea here, and heres why. The bug can substitute for a person in this situation in a symbolic way, and the footprints it left behind would be killer with a person shot. This is miles better than a usual bug macro, which isnt something Im really fond of unless its something like Zepi did. Check that killer photo out in his portfolio.

Hello Philippe, nice shot and good idea, but for me the focus is poor, the image need much details and the scarab it's at is visibility limits, howewer, beautiful colors and pattern.
Ciao
Vinicio

Salut Philippe

bien vu!
ciao joel

I like the photos of the sand dunes - most of all those of entire dunes, but the detail photos also can be very interesting. As this one, with the scarab "footsteps". You caught a good moment for the lights. Nice picture!

Andras

Very nice and humorous. It feels like you had difficulty catching in the frame.
