This is a view of the Ecuadorian paramo at Parque Nacional Cajas outside of Cuenca. I took this photo out of the window of our cabin. The streams are a trout farm.

Hi Katie,
You are some lucky person to have been able to spend so much time in Ecuador. I have spent some time there back in 1991 but didn't quite make it to Parque Nacional Cajas outside of Cuenca. We visited Paute, Biblian, Azogues, and Cuenca and many other regions of this "big" little Andean country.
When I was younger I enjoyed eating trout, however, the best ever fish I ate was trout in a little village near Riobamba.
Please keep on sharing these gorgeous pictures of Ecuador.
