Photographer’s Note
El Malecón – La Habana
In the evening, the great promenade of La Habana, known as “El Malecón”, is one of the favourite places the Habana people choose to spend their free time.
Swimming and fishing are some of the activities they do, a part of seeing and enjoying how the day ends.
The houses in front of the sea, are very hard damaged, caused by the winds and the humidity erosion of the sea. Nowadays, some of them are being restored. Having a walk by the Malecón, seeing this old houses, you can imagine how beautiful it was sixty or seventy years ago, if now even they conserve a great beauty.
Here you can see another view of El Malecón taken a few minutes before this one.

Congratulation!
Nice compo, part of these buildings with sky looks more like painted.

Hola Jaume.

Saludos.

Hola Jaume, very nice picture, I really like the perspective rendering an alignment of the city's colourful and blended architecture highlighted by the the setting sun. I also like the composition with the dark silhouettes of the people in the foreground and the contrast which creates a nice transition from the dark foreground to the sunlit city in the background. Well done Jaume! Have a nice weekend too!

Good PoV and lighting to catch this view of the sea front, must be the Havana Libre hotel in the background.

Hola Jaume.
Saludos, Oscar

Hi Jaume. I'm a little surprised this one doesn't have more points. I really like it. The architecture is so beautiful in the soft light plus the people add life. Very nice one Jaume!

Hi Jaume,
Beautiful lightening in the background along with the dark foreground make this composition excellent.

Buen trabajo
Well done

Hi Jaume - the mix of colonial buildings and concrete high rises is very interesting, the low light gives a beautiful tone to the facades, the silhouettes add a nice huiman element. The only thing I would change is the blurry thing at the lower left corner, can be erased in photoshop, excellent work.

Hi Jaume. I like your composition, with the fishermen in the front and the buildings in the back. The colors of the buildings and the sky are really nice. I would have removed the thing that appear on the bottom left corner.
