This is the last one image of the Notte dei Mezarat, the Night of the
Bats, celebrated last summer in the small village of
Portovaltravaglia, 80 km north-west of Milano, on the Lago Maggiore.
It's the last one image took before the dark.

Love this photo Paolo. Because of the people so different in age, so equalies in terms of joy. Because of the light, this moment of the day when you have the chance to be yourself. Because of the water that for me is a symbol of happiness. Because of the summer mood that already miss. Take care Paolo and thanks.

Beautiful daily life pic.The body languages are well taken. The posture of the old man is very relaxing, others support that.

Ciao Paolo, l'altra faccia della Luna! Mi era piaciuta molto l'altra versione che avevi postato per l'idea che me ne ero fatto. Anche questa comunque è una bella immagine, con il contrasto fra generazioni ed il senso di pace e gioia di una scena famigliare.
Una piccola nota critica per il taglio dei piedi ;-)

What a great scene- I love how they are all facing the same way in elegant poses. The contrast of the ages is great, the very young with the old. The balloons pop right out of the frame- good work!

Very nice Paolo, those colourful balloons give so much joy and life to the view, the people are nicely conttrasted here- the children who are as joyful and lively as the colourful ballooons, and the elderly man...doesn't mean he's not lively of course:-) but he does stand out there...

The balloons are the eye catcher and they fit well with the composition but
for me the old papa sitting on the railing so relaxed and proud looking at the children is very good
the reflection in the background is very good too

Such a lovely photo! There are so many things to like about this photo but I just mention a few; nice composition with great balance. I like how the balloons sitting right above the water creating their own layer. The warm reflection on the water. The colors and lighting. This photo is very pleasant to the eye mostly for the combination of soft colors which complement each other very well in a soft lighting. My complements,

Great shot, the lighting is good and you have retained some of the colour in the balloons although a total silhouette would have been good also.
