The Path to Machu Picchu Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is the path that leads from the "Sun Gate" to the Machu Picchu ruins. If you visit Machu Picchu via the Inca Trail hike, this view will be on your final descent to the ruins. If you arrive by bus, you will have to hike up this trail to view the ruins from the "Sun Gate".

I ran autolevels with photoshop, resized photo and added frame. original composition. i like how the trail wraps through the picture.

An excellent picture of this very special place! So clear and sharp and a different POV, too! Unfortunately I visited MP by bus (terrible road up and very bumpy and high) so I never saw the view from this place.

A superb image of a place I really would love to go one day.
You took this picture from an unusual place with a very noce composition wich makes it original although the god of light was not with you ;-)
