Morning in bagan Photo

Photographer’s Note

It was very early in the morning, 6:10am exactly and I had to be in the right temple(6 km away) at 6:30 to see the rise sun. I was riding my rental bicycle as fast as could, when suddenly I turned back and I saw the wonderful color of the sky , It was just like in the picture, so I stopped riding and I took my camera out, my tripod and I tried to take the picture before the colors were gone........thus, I took the picture and one minute later there were no red colors in the sky.

Hola Juan Jose, Even though it can be dangerous to look backwards while biking, you surely did the right thing this time! It must have been quit a surprise to see these exceptional colours rising in front of you; and what a timing since you said they were gone the next minute after shooting the image! I hope you were still in time to capture the rising sun for which you originally woke up so early!
It's almost hard to believe that these colours are original; they look so out of this world, very precious. The dark silhouettes of the temple contrast so well against them and really give this image a lot of mysticism and reflection. The sense of calmness is fantastic here. I also like the leaves you captured in the right top corner which add to the composition. Maravilloso! Sabine

Que colores mas impresionantes en el cielo, muy buena. Pienso que deberias de cortar la rama de la derecha.
DOnde en CHile vives? YO estare un poco por Chile en Diciembre llegare a Pto Mont de Bariloche e ire a CHiloe y un poco la ruta austral,

Thats what happens we are so intent on gettign somewhere for something that we fail to notice what is around us now. Glad you stopped your bike in time for this beautiful sunrise.
