Flower market at Mullick Ghaat
With so much of flowers on sale, I concentrated on my favorite spot in the market, the wholeseller's corner. Everyone were talking at the top of their voice and it was difficult to move around if you are not there to buy flowers but to get a snap!
I decided to climb up the Howrah bridge and take a shot from above -- quite a bird's view!

Great angle! I really like the fusion of color here with orange being the majority and really enhancing the image from a graphic standpoint as well. It was wise to choose a different vantage point and it works to your advantage here, I think.
Not much to nit pick on this one. Well done!

Hi Arnab,
One more beautiful picture of you and your country. I like your POF and angle and colours of flowers. It was a very good idea to climb on the bridge.

Helle Arnab. A very nice point of view. Even though there's a lot going on in the frame, I still think your photograph is easy reading. The orange colour makes, with the view from above, your image work.

hi arnab, this is a fantastic shot! i lov this view to the bits, one must stare long to recognize who's selling, who's buying, who's just talking, and who's only watching; it is such a nice picture;

Hi Arnab
I like the landscape of all those people between the colored garlands thanks to an excellent POV to get perfect detail impression of this busy market, excellent statement with this chaotic compo to depict the intensity of the market. Curious, you see only one clear woman in the set...

Very Curious view & a fantastic one too..It is giving a dramatic effect.
The scene is very similar to anywhere in India & has defenitely a native smell on it, "Man Vaasanai" as we say in Tamil.. :))
Thank you very much.

You had picked the right place to get an overview of this flower market. At first, I weren't sure whether this was a flower market. I don't see much of any other colors except orange and yellow. Pretty much just about every seller is selling the same colors. Makes me wonder how you pick one?

Arnab,
I like
1.The overall activities....they are so sincere about buying flowers
2.the inclusion of the way formed cutting the pic diagonally. It gives a direction.
3.The choice of the place from where u shoot.
thanks for sharing.

Great shot, Arnab - one of those vivd & vibrant scenes that seemingly only India can provide. I like your POV here- i assume it was taken from a bridge of some sort? Well-captured!

My photos of the same market don't have so vivid colours, I always saw this place at sunrise but I am impressed by those marigolds - also by your POV and framing - brilliant !
If you don't mind, I'll add it to my theme...
Bravo,
Cath.
