Photographer’s Note
This is the last of my series of 4 photos of Saturday morning’s rainbow. This barn is just down the road from the one featured in the last 3 pics. (It is the same one I photographed and posted one afternoon last autumn). As I was shooting this, it had begun to shower again so there is a bit of blur on the left-hand side where a raindrop got onto the lens. I had to hold the camera way above my head to clear the cornstalks and angle the lcd to eye it up...never mind the wind that had kicked up with the rain. I’m amazed it came out this well.
As in the others, levels and sharpening.

I see you placed the corn stalks very carefully in this photo. It is a very appealing setting from what you included in the frame. Thanks for posting. I like this place

Hi Lisa. I had no idea NJ could be this nice! The rainbow is an excellent addition. I like the low shooting angle to capture the tops of the corn. Nicely done Lisa!

Hi Lisa,
This shot is very appealing. Although perhaps not as dramatic as the others in the series, I like the close-up view of the red buildings here. The foreground corn stalks enhance and all is tranquil and serene. Despite the conditions you worked under, all is remarkably clear and well seen. A great shot in a great series.

Hi Lisa,
My choice of your rainbow shots. It is because the farm buildings show bigger, and for me it is interesting to compare European and American architecture.
And I like the cornfield too.

I like the contrasts in the colours of this one - this is my favourite of your rainbow series (-:
Rainbows are difficult to photograph, next time you have the opportunity to photograph one, experiment with a polarizing filter, if you have one. You'll be amazed at the result as you rotate the filter

Nice shot, Lisa.
Rainbows can produce good pictures when well pactured like this one.
Although the weather was not so good, you've managed to produce a good picture of this one. The red buildings add a lot to the compo.
Well done,
Celso

Hi Lisa,
Pleasant capture of the rural atmosphere!
I find the small farm interesting as it looks like many over here in my place, with the red painted barn!
Well balanced composition and the rainbow is a bonus!

Hi Lisa, after looking at your gallery, you have inspired me take my camera out to explore New Jersey... I love shooting in the city so much, that I take for granted the beauties of the garden State. For this image, you have created a lovely composition balancing the rainbow and the farm very well.
Cheers fellow Jersey.
