Preparation of the idols of the goddess Durga is a traditional work of art. Handed down from generation to genration, the craftsmen develop the skills and adapt with the demand of the times.

I was talking to this person, who is seen preparing the clay for the moulds of the heads of the gods. With quick hands and expertise, he was preparing them, one after another. You can see him working really fast in this shot.

See the heads of the goddess kept drying in the bright sunshine on the left side.
