Damme is not only a place for tourists; if you look a bit further than the main street, you can still find some surprises, like here where the inhabitants of these old houses take good care of their house and give a little bit more colour to the streets with well kept flowers.

A cute place, good framing. Maybe a bit underexposed for my opinion. I think you should have added a 1/3 exposition compensation because all the building is white.

Hi Hendrik,

its a nice calm photo. Evetything is toned down. The colors, the scene in the photo. Its pleasant photo to look at but Id try to brighten it up a bit and have more contrasts here.

Goedenmiddag Hendrik,
Een van die pitoresque gevels in het Damme van vandaag, de gevel mooi versiert samen met het voetpad, zelfs hier is het perspectief aanwezig.
Niet uw grootste maar wel eentje om van tegenieten.

Da's een mooie Hendrik, weet je, heb ooit eens in zulk oud huisje gewoond, was wel moeilijk te verwarmen in de winter, je ziet hier de spouwijzers als vloerverankering duidelijk zitten, een gooed perspectief, perfect belicht om de textuur in de wit geschilderde huijes te bewaren en mooi deze contrasterende bloembakken meegenomen.

very nice and tender street scene. I like how the inhabitants keep their places. It must be really nice walking around the town. Also the framing of the shot, with this diagonal in light and dark colour is nice. TFS
