Photographer’s Note
Going back to CNE again for today's post, I think this will be my last photo from the Ex (maybe one more). This photo gives a complete view of some of the photos I have posted earlier from the Ex.
Ferris Wheel
The Ride
Toronto Skyline
I took this photo from Ontario Place, that is an amusement park on the shores of Lake Ontario. On the left side you can see the CNE grounds and the Toronto Downtown is on the right of the frame.
Thanks for your visit
Cheeers
Also check the WS for a photo taken at the same place 15 minutes earlier.
This is my 50th post and I take this opportunity to thank everybody on TE whose inspiration and suggestions have helped me in becoming a better photographer. When I compare the photos I was taking pre TE era to my recent posts, there is no doubt in my mind that I like my recent photos far better than my initial raw photos .... and it is all due to all of you people in this wonderful community.
The counter on my intro page says it is my my 51st photo, but that is due to this bug in my account. In reality this is my 50th ...
Thanks sooo much .... Merci Beaucoup .... Gracias

I really like the light in this shot! The artificial lights of the Ex don't overwhelm the rest of the scene because there is still enough light in the sky. The downtown buildings are lit up with a golden reflection from the sunset, and there is even enough light to still show detail in the boats. I like the colour of that sky too. Well done!

Hi Sarju
This is a beautiful night view again! As the sky is so clear it makes the building really sharp. The DOF is really good too.
But it's just a shame that your image is a bit titled to the right. Anyway you made a beautiful composition. Thx
Cheers
Quentin

Congtrats on you No. 50 Sarju, nice view of the marina and Toronto skyline, very nice details. Maybe the long exposition was not necessary and that the light near the big wheel would be less strong with a shorter time, but not a major issue here. Nice presentation and well composed, have a nice week end.

Beautiful image Sarju. I love the colours and the contrast between the blue, darker foreground area and the bright lights of the funfair. You shouldn't have mentioned the tilt it your WS write up; I didn't notice.

Hi Sarju,
Love it, an excellent PoV and good perspective reading the image to finally hit the CN tower, very well composed. I think you hit the limits of the compact with this view as you cannot go beyond f/8 and this would be necessary to have the brightly lit area somewhat clearer and sharper.
Have a nice week end,
Jean-Yves

Hey Sarju;
Congrats on the 50th! A nice shot to mark the occasion... Great sharpness, color, and composition. However a rooky mistake from such a good photographer as yourself- what's with the crooked horizon Sarju? I should deduct a point. ;-)
Look forward to seeing many more of your shots Sarju!

Hello Sarju
Between two batches of roasting sweet red pepper for winter use in my recipes,I give a look at TE and look at something more interesting, all this done while listening to Richard Galliano interpreting Astor Piazzolla,I am giving you an advance answer on your next journalistic question."What do you do while looking at TE"
Good POV on the city and the playground.I like the clarity you achieve in the foreground.
Let's give a look at the next 50
Take care

Hi Sarju,
Congrats on your 50th post. Yes, there is a huge difference between your first postings and your recent work. This is a well composed shot which helps recapitulate and place in perspective the great shots you have given us from the CNE. I like the wide angle view, the generous foreground marina area, and the lighting. Well seen and captured.

Hi Sarju, A beautiful shot of the city sky line and the fun in the amusement park. You have done an excellent job to capture the good timing at dusk to show the city, the park, and the marina. A very well taken picture with nice contrast and sharpness. Well done.

Hi Sarju.
This is one of the prettiest pictures of Toronto I have seen. I grew up in Jordan Station, about 30 miles on the other side of Lake Ontario, and I visited Toronto often. It is one of my favourite cities on earth. The composition, the clarity and the colour of this shot are outstanding. I hope you had fun at the EX!
Congratulations on your 50th post!

Great landscape shot Sarju. I like how you were able to get there before the sun went down. Looks good with it reflecting of the buildings. Not sure about the tilt. Like dainelswalsh said I should deduct a point. ;-)
Well done.

Sarju, very interesting moment and the scene was very calm. I like the darkness and the color that the reflections on the water gave to the frame.
Thanks

Salut Sarju,
Missed a couple of days of TE, so I missed this shot. I love all images that have blue overtones. This is like 3 photos in one, the vity of TO, the fair and the harbour. All would have been a good photo on it's own, and togheter, it makes for a superb composition.
Nicely done,
Amitiés - Paul

Sarju, c'est une photo très intéressante, j'aime le premier plan bleu nuit avec les bateaux et juste après cette zone la fête très éclairée. La composition est bonne les couleurs sont au top.
