Photographer’s Note

After 4 long days of my picture without Sea or Lakes or Ponds....

That image was took at the sunrise from the city of Faaa (a suburb of Papeete) on the Tahiti island, watching to Moorea.
Both islands are part of the Windward Islands (French: Îles du Vent), the eastern group of the Society Islands in French Polynesia. The archipelago comprises an administrative division and includes Tahiti, Moorea, Mehetia, Tetiaroa, and Maiao.

The view of Moorea from Tahiti is something of ...fantastic. That not small island have 8 vertical peaks, many small Cervino (Matterhorns), a small but wonderful coral ring reef, 2 deep bays more similar to Norwegian fjords, a great forest, few streets on the coastline, and a sea with all the tones of blue!
The view of Moorea at the sunrise from Faaa is a must, with amazing soft colors, sweet fog and Polinesyan sky.

Les deux pieds dans une botte
Le pécheur est repêché
Une anguille qui zigzague
Dit touche pas il mijote

Hey Paolo,

what an idyllic paradise. You have a very nice image here that sort of reminds me of Joseph Conrad novels. This is very reminiscent od SE Asia. I really like the overall red tone of this shot.

Non sono in grado di apprezzare la poesia in francese (...e neanche la tua conoscenza musicale... che diavolo sono i Buddha Bar ??), ma per la vista di Tahiti... che bella!!!
Proprio quell'atmosfera da sogno che si associa a quei luoghi nella fantasia, magari seduti in ufficio a guardare fuori la pioggia di questi giorni, con sottofondo di clakson, sirene & the like.

This is just sooo beautiful; It's one of those images you want to go on looking at again and again and.....The slight blur whether intentional or not adds a mysticism to the shot, and the colours are wonderful.
