Pumpkin festival Photo

Photographer’s Note

You can see what animals or things can be done from pumpkins.... Actually, this has been a Cabbage festival (Den zela) in Stupava, Zahorie. Cabbage still is an important part of our food, although less important than before. Cabbage (fermented in barrels) in the past was almost the only source of C vitamine in winter times. But still we like it, and make a main soup from it at Christmas.

So the pumpkins :-) BTW - all ones at the shot were made by children in a kindergarten...

Great fun in this composition. The colors and the jumble of faces are great. Those are very talented children. Well done.

Great to see this! There's so much effort of children put into these. Colourful and funny.
Obviously there's a compromise between the amount of pumpkins and possibility to see check the details. The other pumpkin shot of yours complement this perfectly.
