Taken on my first trip to Moorea in 2001, I shot this photo of the Moorea Beachcomber Hotel with my old Canon RebelG. I had the negative scanned and put on a CD. The resulting photo had brown spots in the sky and scratches, so I have spent time correcting that here. I also adjusted the color and reduced the noise. That being said, I hope you understand why this is not my greatest picture technically, but I wanted to share its contents anyway.

Hi Cheryl - the palm leaves make a wonderful frame and the transparent water steals the show, and nice restoration work on the neg.

The colour of the water is such a beautiful, deep shade! Looks like a wonderful place to visit, and the palm frond frames add to the atmosphere of paradise. :)

Hi Cheryl. Do you think Mr George Dub would be interested my wee photo. This image is a bit of me though, I really like the atmosphere of sun and relaxation you have created here, nice use of natural framing also.
Thanks for sharing.
PS. Nice work with the PP.
