Photographer’s Note
Having been born in the early 70s, I am one of those people that has memories of the old Cold War hostilities between the Warsaw Pact and NATO.
I distinctly remember seeing newscasts showing Canadian fighter jets like this preserved CF-101 Voodoo escorting former Soviet military aircraft out of Canadian territiory when they came in occaisionally.
The Voodoo, like the Cold War is, thankfully, an item of history now.
This particular aircraft was restored in the late 1990s and put on display outside the Alberta Aviation Museum at the City Centre Airport in Edmonton, Canada. I still consider Edmonton my home town, though I have been living in the Czech Republic a little over a year now.

Nice plane. It would have be awesome though if you cropped it a little more so to give the effect that it's flying. LOL Either way I still like it. TFS!
