Photographer’s Note
It is considered a privilage to carry the sarcophagi to the cremation site, it certainly looked like hard work and a couple of young lads I spoke with after they had completed their duties, showed me the blisters on their shoulders, where the bamboo poles had rested whilst they carried their share of the load, not a pretty site.
