Photographer’s Note

City Palace in the heart of Jaipur, occupying about one-seventh of the old city area and it was built between 1729 and 1732 by Sawai Jai Singh.
The complex is surronded by a high wall and is divided into a series of courtyards, gardens and other building.

Hi Jamal,
a wonderful view. I like this carvings in the red sandstone. The "frame" is very nice, that's beautiful in Rajasthan, you always have a natural frame.
The blue of the sky is a little too intensive.
Is this the city-palace?

Great colors in this not-that easy composition. It is remarkable that you managed to get this blue skies!
One small thing that I would have tried is not to "cut" the skies with the red building by taking the same pic from a slightly righter angle.

What a beautiful photo. The composition is great. The lines of the house match the lines of the arc perfectly, and the colors are beautiful.

Hello Jamal,

Well seen and taken, I think that the colors too are wonderful. I would only attract your attention that when you take symmetrical pictures, it is impertive that the two sides are perfectly equal. I am sure that this picture would have got at least 60 points if it were shot as I meant. I have such a picture in my portfolio, taken at the Dakshineswar temple in Kolkata.
