Photographer’s Note
The soil on the north-west coast of Tasmania is an amazing rich chocolate brown. The countryside looks so beautiful, patchworked in deep browns, greens and golds. The rich volcanic soil is used for vegetable and flower growing, prime beef and dairy cattle. Tourism is another thriving industry in the area.

Hi Jennifer,
Beautiful landscape, nice contrast between the green and the brown in the road. Maybe a bit too much sky.

Hi Jennifer
I like the sweeping curve of the red earth road. Excellent & simple composition that works well. Good work!

Nice title, Jennifer, indeed it looks a bit as if they were growing cocoa on that slope :) Besides the pleasant countryside landscape with the good inclusion of the barn and the curving fence in the compo, the contrast between the browns and greens makes this one work well. Not least a good result for shooting from a car, I have to say.

For being from a moving car it certainly did turn out well and you cropped out the foreground well to avoid blur. I only see that tiny bit in the lower right corner. The road and curves of the landscape are so fluid and really move the eye easily through here. I really like the greens and browns. And the hill of trees rising over the top adds a nice contrast to the plowed farmland. Nicely captured Jennifer.

Good Evening Jennifer -
This is a very nice landscape considering it is a grab shot from a moving car. The rich soil does make the rest of the scene jump off the screen. A very peaceful scene with some wonderful contrast between the bare soil and the green grass.
Thanks for sharing

Great shot, deep colours and nice location. I have not been there myself but I can imagine the landscape would lend itself to great photos.
Thank you for sharing.
