Hi, this is a very simple but nevertheless interesting composition. Perhaps there is a little too much sky in this shot, toward the top I notice that the color gradation almost ceases. However for it me it works very well, congratulations.

Very simple, but it works. It reminds me a bit of a Rothko painting, but I would agree in cropping a bit from the top as you lose the gradation at that point.

Nice sunset shot Adrian,

Good tones too, but i have to agree with the rest about the cropping. Well done though.

Ged.

Strange to see this sun without the usual flare and so close to the equator too. Lovely orange tones. I think I agree with duder; maybe you should crop some of the sky from the top.

Hi Adrian. Its a good sunset shot but i have to agree with the others on cropping the sky. Great shot though. Well done Sue.

Hi Adrian,
very simple, but very effective. I like this gradation of warm colours of the sky. And the earth could be also some other planet. TFS

Hi adrian!
Well seen and well composed. I like the gradiant in the sky.
Tanks for posting.
Regards.
Amir

nice simple one, maybe I would have used the classical 1/3 approach (1/3 of land + 2/3 of sky). I run out of daily workshop, otherwise I'd have tryed an example cropping your pic. ciao!

Hello Adrian,
I like your composition here, and the placement of the sun is very nice! It is interesting to see the gradiants in the sun itself, very well captured... Nice mood, I can almost feel the heat of the day soon to end... Maybe a tad digital noise?
Regards,
Pablo -

By the way, all of your UAE portfolio is interesting

Beautiful capture, Adrian. I tend to agree with the rest about cropping ... but also I would put the sun more off center. It's a matter of taste.

Very simple yet pleasing composition, Great true to life colors and range of tones on the sun. I tried a workshop to address the cropping everybody agreed on, hope you like.

Hey, this one is very nice.
I love the color of the sky.
It's like looking at the sky through a glass of cola.

Hi Adrian,

I like this one, very minimalist and great mood, peaceful moment you captured.

Hi Adrian. This simple shot works well because of the gentle graduation of colour. Not just in the sky but also across the disc of the sun too. Beautiful.

Hello Adrian, so simple.... and so beautiful. I love the balance created by the shades of colors. The sun really stands out in that dark. Great luminosity and definition. You can filter the noise, but I like the grain. It adds character to the image. Very well done, Gabriel

Hi Adrian
Glad you like the night picture of your column.
I'm impressed by your treatment of this sunset subject here. The light is good and the composition works well. Nice light and good atmosphere. A bit of mystery in the composition too. Well done.

I like your colors in this one. the gradation is well done. the sun does that great two tone thing, and the land being really dark serves the shot well.

i like it a lot,
thanks

Hi Adrian!
Interesting simple composition.I like warm colors.Colors on sun ball are just amazing.

Hi Adrian,
This pic really caught my eye. It's beautifully simple, nicely composed, and I love the colours. The only real issue I have was with the 'noise' but I see one of the workshops has already dealt with that problem. As to whether or not it needed to be cropped, I guess it's a matter of personal preference. I actually like it the way you posted it, although maybe the inclusion of a white frame would make it stand out even more. Again, that's just a personal opinion.
Keep up the good work!

Best wishes,
Tony

Hello Adrian
Hmm, what to say... There is so empty and the lonely Sun. Interesting, but to lonely ;). But nice on the other hand.
Best regards

Hi adrian congratulations for this shot, it's fantastic, well composed and perfect exposition, BRAVO!

adrian nelson ,
Nice sunset.
Nice composition.
NO obstacle on horaizon.
Huge, wide, tall sky with orange color.
I remember my stay of middle east.

Very well done.
Regards, Shailendra

Yes this certainly needed the crop, im not sure whos workshop I like best they are both good but both taken from a great source, good picture TFS.

Hi Adrian,

missed this one in your gallery. I like the WS.s but I like this too. It's such a simple composition with great gradution of the brown (orange?) tones. It's also made by having a piece of land in the foreground, gives it some depth as I would estimate the sun to be about 93,000,000 miles away, that's only a rough guess you understand?

Regards

Stephen

Hi Adrian,
there is something unrest in this picture. The colours are rather gray, not so colorful as we expect when we are looking at the sunset pictures. And I think that is the reason I like it a lot. Small sun in the huge sky.
Regards,
Jan

Hi Adrain,

Nice work, very well composed, such a beautiful colour. Well done,

Fara

simple compo with a humungous appeal!

Hi Adrian
This exposure catched my attention!
I prefer it with the "noise"...

Adrian,
Very god work on this sunset. You made this simple composition stand up with these beautiful colors.
Agreed with other people on the crop. I did a simple WS. Hope you like it.

Hi Adrian,
iYou captured Impeccably smooth color with your excellent light mangement. HLJ, Pat

Hi Adrian - I see you are a fan of sunsets judging by your portfolio of images. I like the vast empty space you allocated here, with rich hues in the darkening sky and low positioned sun ball.
