Photographer’s Note
This is another image from Muir Woods. These trees are coast redwoods, the tallest in the world with very tallest measured (I believe) at 311ft.
I thought this picture helped give some idea of the sheer size of them. I also liked the silhouette affect of the tree trunks against the green canopy.

Nice shot! Very good point of view- I like the composition that's created thanks to it- it does show the point, i.e. the impressive height of these trees...
