Photographer’s Note
We were stood out on the main street of Phonsavan negotiating for a tour of the Plain of Jars. The street runs almost perfectly east to west and offers a great view of the setting sun. Our negotiations were put very much on hold when we turned around to see the most vivid sunset imaginable. I was fully expecting the four horsemen of the apocalypse to come riding towards us.
