Photographer’s Note
The lake Titicaca stands at an altitude of 3821 m making it the highest navigable lake in the world.
This picture came from the Peruvian side of the lake, but since it is between Peru and Bolivia, nobody seems to agree on where does the "Peruvian side" stops and where the "Bolivian side" starts.
The people of that area lives on floating islands made from stacked bamboo. The bamboo is also used for building houses and boats. Today, the inhabitants are mainly living from tourism.

Very beautiful panorama of the Titicaca Lake and his floating islands, Simon. Great sharpness and colours, good point of view. Well done.

Superbe photo Simon. Les herbes à l'avant-plan sont jolies, mais détournent un peu l'attention du bateau et de la hutte. Par contre, je crois que c'est la seule option de cadrage que tu avais. Bonne photo, bravo!
