[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On the corner of Elizabets iela and Kristiana Borona iela stand the National Library.
A place where I could spend days, if it weren't for the small detail of lacking the necessary language skills.

On the groundfloor the windows house the ABC press, a latvian publisher, and the windows are full of the books you should buy.
One window is for the national library and it displays their dream; the planned new building, shaped as a glass mountain, like in the Latvian myth.

Actualy, the groundfloor is what most people see, the park across the street, the tram, the puppet theater, they are all more interesting.

Normaly, a B&W would emphasis the architecture, this day however, the sky was deep, deep blue and the pale green of the building finaly looked good.

No enhancing this time, just resising and sharpening.

Hello David! This is nice, I like the sky and composition. Regards, Jarkko

yes, very nice compo of this huge building in a more huge sky!
have nice sunday

this shot is superb! I don't know why, probably because of the 'power' packed within the building itself. Somehow , to me, this kind of architecture, with wide surfaces and 'uniform' colour looks powerful. and it fits into the mighty sky here.
I would only remove frames.
perfect photo.
and great note too!
keep like this
