Portrait of a ship 2
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
There's Aqaba the sea resort, and there's Aqaba the port. The port receives trading ships, old, beaten up, rusty, industrial-like...they spoil the view if you've come for the beaches and the sea...but I liked Aqaba the port, I liked the old ships, for some people ugly, for me- worthy of a portrait.
Here's the second one -the same ship as yesterday, from a slightly different point of view (from the roof of my hotel), and with red gradient filter. I personally like much better the one I uploaded yesterday, but since I was experimenting with different tones I'm interested in views on this one as well. |

You really make this old junker boat look like a work of art! Well done. I think the positioning of both the horizon and the ship in the photo make it look perfect.

this is the sort of photo that the owners of the ship/boat would love. well done
Thats a very nice aspect, Aleksandra! Have you applied a PP filter or is this effect is due to a mounted filter on your camera lens?
In any case, the filter added nice tonality to the overall picture!
