Photographer’s Note
Standing on the boat dock at Bing's landing provides a view looking north up the Kenai River. The aqua/green color in the water is created by glacier silt and gives the river an awesome color hue when the sunlight is right.
I'd taken this picture just after a cold front passed through the area and the cloud cover was breaking.
Including the boat dock was an important part of the image, to convey what a person would see while standing on the dock looking upriver.
The horizon line is as it appeared at the time, mostly due to the angle of where I was standing.
