My recollection is that this was taken on the Yangtze river but I am not certain of that.

I cropped, used Neat Image, desaturated, and adjusted levels.

Nice atmosphere in this shot. I love the black and white in this phicture. Very graphic.

like the high contrast in this image. the tree have a nice painterly quality. the boat suggests water and its placement balances the trees. strong composition. maybe wish the poles in the foreground were a stronger black as it would add some depth to the image. very nice image.

Very artistically oriented image. I like the calm feel to it, but it also seems to have a journalistic quality--perhaps the high contrast does this. I like it very much!

I like a lot the overexposed look on this image. It gives a peaceful feeling to it as it eliminates distracting elements to concentrate on the main subjects.
