Photographer’s Note
This is TO downtown as viewed from the Ontario Palace (amusement park in Toronto). The yellow/blue tent on the bottom right corner is that of the Le Cirque du Soleil, the famous circus group from Montreal.
The tallest structure is CN tower, it is the tallest free standing structure on land earth and the pride of Toronto.

Hi Sarju, nice city scape from Toronto at the begining of the evening, the sharpness is excellent. I remember to have seen the tent at the begining of summer in Montreal, it adds colors to the scene, Thanks for sharing.

Bonjour Sarju,
Wow, I really enjoy this great skyline shot of TO. The colors are great and the light is very well managed. You have chosen such a good place to take this photo.
When I was young, there was a battle between Montreal and Toronto as to determine wich was Canada's best and biggest town. With this image, I now know who won!!!

Toronto is a quaint little city, and this shows the magic of it. Did you use a star filter to achieve the stars on the lights? It's very pretty. Overall, I enjoy also the lighting here and the levels.

Hi Sarju,
A god Toronto skyline, with great details on the tal buildings and a great deep blue color to the dky.
Very good timing to the picture, the sky is not totaly dark and the buildings still reflect some sunlight.

Hi Sarju,
Sorry for my near four weeks delay in critiques and posts to TE members, but life is life. Fine horizontal enquadrement and view perspective of the Toronto downtown. You handled very well the light conditions in a evening moment. Excelent colors, contrast and light capture. Splendid contrast between the blue sky and the buildings.
Very well seen, done and composed.
Best Regards.

Great timing with this shot Sarju. The colours from the deep blue in the sky to the reds from the buildings work great. Toronto makes a great subject for photos and you have executed this well.

I'm not ususally a fan of skyline shots, but this I have to say is outstanding. I was also wondering if you used a star filter, but see from your reply to David that you did not. The sharpness is outstaning for 4 second exposure; I assume that you did use a tripod.

Good morning Sarju -
Wow, this is a very colorful image of Toronto. Capturing the last rays of the sun on the towers as well as the nightime lights of the amusement park and the trafic flow on one of the major streets. Well done!

Great shot Sarju;
Great timing and angle to capture this shot. The skyline lights up reflecting the sunset against the dark sky.
Interestngly enough. We have a Cirque du Soleil, passing through Singapore right now as well. There are always quite a few different Cirque shows travelling the globe at different times.
Have a great day!

Hello Sarju. A classic night time shot of Toronto. The CN Tower makes this skyline unique and it never fails to impress me how it so dramatically dominates the other buildings around it. You have captured this scene with good colours and exposure for a very pleasing shot. A bit of post processing in NeatImage would reduce the noise in the sky a bit but the effect here is not so bad as to be unpleasant.

Great colours and lighting, Sarju. Your exposure is spot on and the positioning of the tower in your composition is just right. Cheers . . . David

Amazing buildings and colors. Here’s an image I will never be able to get in Portugal…
The details in the buildings as well the colors in them and in the sky are very nice, even if the image is a bit soft. The positioning of the tower is very nice as being off-centre balances the composition.
Still, the dark bottom part disturbs me a little, especially with all those lights popping out of them. A crop of the bottom and a little of the right could make an interesting composition.
Made a WS. Hope you like it.

Bonjour Sarju
Now I understand why you know so well Toronto!
The tower is right on the tiers line and that makes a great composition. Vertical perspective is perfect and so is the lighting.
Wonderful!

Sarju, I wished I was the one who took this.Impressive almost magnetic, with the scrapers' outline, textured with the thousands of lit/relected windows. against the blue backdrop.
